On May 20, Clara Barton Elementary School 3rd grade students dressed up as historical figures for their annual wax museum event. In preparation for the event, students research and write up a quick description of a historical figure. During the event, each student has a 'button' next to them, which attendees push to hear the student talk about the person they're dressed up as. The event allows students to learn about historical figures, all while utilizing research, writing, and public speaking skills. Check out the photo gallery below for some scenes from the event.
