Titan Arboretum - T’s Trail

T’s Trail at West Mifflin’s secondary campus is a revitalized initiative to promote student and community wellness. The project repurposes old cross-country trails into a three-tiered experience.

Tier 1 establishes a 3.1-mile WPIAL course to boost student fitness and team spirit.

Tier 2 integrates the trail with the new Titan Arboretum, aiming for Level I ArbNet certification to support STEAM education through labeled trees and public events.

Tier 3 opens the trail to the community, featuring outdoor exercise stations modeled after South Park to encourage physical and mental health, while supporting programs like Air Force JROTC.

Level I arboretum accreditation covers the core functions of an arboretum. It represents a major accomplishment in an organization’s commitment to care for its trees.
