Everything Kindergarten

Kindergarten is a special time full of growth, discovery, and new beginnings. At West Mifflin School District, we’re excited to welcome your child to a safe, nurturing environment where learning is fun and every child is encouraged to shine.

Our kindergarten programs are thoughtfully designed to build strong academic foundations while supporting your child’s social and emotional development. From learning letters and numbers to making new friends, your child will be supported every step of the way.

This page is your guide to everything you need to know—registration, readiness tips, school schedules, and more. We’re proud to partner with you as your child begins this important journey.

Can I Contact My Child's Teacher?

On the right side of this page, you'll find a list of all kindergarten teachers by building.

Teacher assignments will be mailed home on August 5th. If you have any questions before the first day, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
