Drop Off and Pick Up at the New Middle School Any student who is getting a ride to or from school will be dropped of near the cafe in the parking lot located near Commonwealth Ave. Please do not pull up to the main entrance. This will keep you and your children safe while buses are entering the main entrance in the school zone. Middle School Awarded Grant from ExxonMobil ExxonMobil is a long-standing supporter of education programs around the world. Through numerous grant and scholarships programs, employee volunteers and matching gift programs, ExxonMobil seeks to improve the quality of local schools
The West Mifflin Area Middle school is planning to use the grant money to buy new calculators, and science equipment to be used in math and science classes.
Special thanks to our local Exxon Mobil dealer located next to our school on Camp Hollow Road for nominating us for this special grant.
One Man, One Volleyball, with One Message Bob Holmes took on over 100 students and defeated them single handedly. Then he took on 6 teachers who gave him a run for his money but he ended up beating them as well 26-24. After all that he then delievered a message about standing alone and going against the crowd.
